Leave the Imperial Citadel, we driver along the bank of Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda. This is the oldest pagoda in Hue. Besides Perfume River, Ngu Mountain (Royal Mountains), Thien Mu Pagoda became a symbol of Hue. There are many legend stories about this pagoda. Let’s walk around and enjoy the atmosphere of the sacred pagoda with more than 410 years old.

In the afternoon, continue to visit Tu Duc Tomb – one of the most beautiful royal tomb in Hue. It’s also a superb example of Nguyen Dynasty’s architecture. Located in a narrow valley of Duong Xuan Thuong Village, 8km from Hue. Tu Duc Tomb is the most beautiful monument among the tombs of the Nguyen Dynasty. It includes hills, pine forests, island and lake. Emperor Tu Duc had begun planning and constructing his tomb long before he died in 1883.
Leave Tu Duc Tomb for Khai Dinh Tomb, you will be really impressed by the unusual architecture of the tomb. This is a special tomb with a combination between Oriental architecture and Western architecture. If you have time, do not miss any details because each of them hidden in a deep philosophy.
