HUE TO PHONG NHA PRIVATE TAXI TRANSFER ITINERARY
In the morning, our driver will come to the location you provided in the booking form. After greetings, check up your luggage, and we will begin the Hue to Phong Nha by private taxi.
Along the route, feel free to ask our professional driver to stop for your needs: breakfast/lunch, coffee, souvenirs, or taking photos of the attractions along the way. Starting with:
La Vang Church, or Basilica of Our Lady of La Vang, is a famous pilgrimage site for Vietnamese Catholics. Located in Quang Tri Province, the church holds great significance for Vietnamese Catholics and is considered a place of spiritual importance. It is one of the three most famous pilgrimage sites for the Catholics in Vietnam.
Next, you will stop at a historical site in Central Vietnam. Hien Luong Bridge crossing the Ben Hai River is the demilitarized zone used for the separated point of Vietnam after the Geneva Conference (1954). Upon arrival, you will notice the bridge’s colour is divided into two, symbolizing the separation of two sides of the country.
And the next destination is Vinh Moc Tunnels (plus an extra fee). This is one of the underground networks in Vietnam, constructed during the Anti-American War for National Salvation. It is a shelter for Vietnamese soldiers and local people to hide during the heavy bombings. Inside the tunnels are many necessary facilities for living. Today, they serve as a historical site and tourist attraction, showcasing the people’s resilience during wartime.
At last, our driver will bring you to check in at your hotel/homestay in Phong Nha Town. Hue Private Taxi hopes you have a memorable trip with us. Please give us feedback about how you enjoy the journey.
